Ballot for Industrial Action

Ballot for Industrial Action

Following the mass meeting of 21st June when members overwhelming voted for balloting to take industrial action The Branch officers have been busy preparing the necessary arrangments for this to happen. All of this is now in place and will be taken to the branch executive meeting on Wednesday 6th July where it will be an agenda item and voted upon, it is intended to give members several options as to what form of industrial action will be taken. Following this meeting the ballot papers and proposals will be sent to all members.

Please ensure that you do not waste the opportunity to vote and to give us the very clearest mandate as to what action, or actions, that you the members want. These are very difficult and worrying times for us all, never has there been a more important and crucial time for us to be strong, united and resolute as trades unionists. Rest assured that the branch officers will continue to work and negotiate on your behalf and will strive as always to seek the best possible outcome for all our members.
